    Description

EyeSeeMe is the nation’s largest multicultural children’s bookstore. We work to ensure every child sees themselves in the pages they read, and we partner with schools, families, and community organizations to expand access to diverse books. Our nonprofit arm, the EyeSeeMe Foundation, supports free and sponsored book fairs, literacy programs, and community initiatives.

We are looking for a volunteer who can help strengthen our outreach through Google Ads. If you enjoy digital marketing, data, or advertising strategy, and want to use your skills to support literacy and representation, this is a meaningful way to contribute.

    What you’ll support

    • Managing and optimizing Google Ads campaigns using our Google Ad Grant
    • Improving ad copy, keywords, and targeting
    • Reviewing analytics to identify what’s working
    • Helping us increase awareness of EyeSeeMe Book Club, Sponsored Book Fairs, and literacy programs
    • Light support with email or social messaging if you enjoy that, but not required

    What we’re looking for

    • Experience with Google Ads or a desire to learn quickly
    • Strong attention to detail and willingness to test, measure, and adjust
    • Clear communicator who can work independently
    • Someone who cares about literacy, representation, or education access

    What you’ll gain

    • Hands-on experience running ads for a real organization
    • Portfolio-building examples of campaign work
    • Flexible scheduling and the ability to make a direct impact on our reach
    • A chance to support an established bookstore and a growing nonprofit mission
