Description
The Primate Rescue Center relies on the hard work and dedication of volunteers to help ensure that our residents get the high-quality care they deserve. As a volunteer, you will be helping with food preparation, cleaning of monkey and chimp enclosures, cleaning of human areas, and creating enrichment for the primates. You will have the opportunity to observe primate behavior from a safe distance, and have the satisfaction of knowing you are helping to provide a happy and healthy sanctuary life to nearly 40 primates! Our volunteers must understand that our residents are not pets, are not used for invasive research, are not for sale or adoption, and do not benefit from exposure to the general public.
- Volunteers NEVER have any physical contact with or feed any of the primates. No exceptions.
