    Description

    Horizons Atlanta is seeking five enthusiastic volunteers to support our inaugural Champions Breakfast, a special fundraising event celebrating the students, educators, and supporters who make our mission possible.

    Horizons Atlanta provides tuition-free summer learning and year-round enrichment for more than 1,300 students across metro Atlanta. Through literacy intervention, STEAM learning, swimming instruction, social-emotional development, and academic field trips, we help students build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and experience joyful learning.

    Volunteers will play an important role in creating a welcoming and organized experience for guests attending the event.

    Volunteer Responsibilities May Include:

    • Assisting with guest check-in and registration
    • Distributing name badges and event materials
    • Serving as ushers and helping guests find their tables
    • Supporting event staff with general logistics
    • Greeting and welcoming attendees

    All volunteers will receive a complimentary breakfast and the opportunity to engage with community leaders, corporate partners, and supporters of Horizons Atlanta.

    Ideal Volunteers Are:

    • Friendly and welcoming with strong interpersonal skills
    • Reliable and punctual (arrival at 6:30 AM is required)
    • Comfortable interacting with guests and providing directions
    • Able to stand and move around during the event
    • Passionate about supporting education and youth in Atlanta
