Are you looking for a compassionate way to give back to your community? Join Elara Caring Hospice as a Bereavement Volunteer and provide emotional support to families who have lost a loved one.

Grief can be one of the most challenging times in a person’s life, and our bereavement volunteers play a vital role in offering comfort and companionship. Whether through heartfelt condolence cards, supportive phone calls, or simply being there to listen, your presence can make a real impact. You will also have the opportunity to assist our Social Worker and Chaplain in providing ongoing support to families.

This is a flexible and meaningful volunteer opportunity for those with a caring heart. Becoming a bereavement volunteer is simple-all you need is:

✔ Be 16 years of age or older

✔ Reliable transportation

✔ A valid Texas driver’s license or ID

✔ An open heart and a willingness to support others
