Booth Helper at Weihnachtsmarkt — A Magical German Winter Festival for Children and their Families

Join us for Weihnachtsmarkt, our school’s annual German-inspired winter festival celebrating community, warmth, and wonder during the Advent season — a time when people traditionally gather to bring joy and connection to the darkest days of winter. Volunteers help create the magic by welcoming guests, assisting at children’s activity booths, and supporting this beloved community event.

About the Event

Enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, a musical and performance program, and shopping opportunities from a variety of vendors offering quality handmade items. Guests can also bid on high-quality silent auction items and purchase tickets at the Welcome Booth for games, candle-dipping, bake-sale treats, beverages, and more.

Children’s activities include:

• Kiddie train rides
• Games and gingerbread decorating
• Beeswax candle dipping
• The magical Angel Room (a child-only shopping experience)
• And much more!

Admission is free, and all proceeds support our school community.

Volunteer Roles

We’re looking for friendly helpers to staff our booths and activity areas — and for those who love being part of the behind-the-scenes magic!

You might:

• Welcome guests and answer questions
• Assist with crafts, games, or ticket sales
• Help with set-up or clean-up, bringing the festival to life and wrapping it up with care
• Keep booths tidy and inviting
• Share in the festive, community spirit

Every role is part of creating the joyful, old-world atmosphere that makes Weihnachtsmarkt so special. We’ll match you with a booth or task that fits your interests and availability.

Date: The event is Sunday December 7, 2025 10 am to 5pm

Set-up is Saturday December 6, Clean-up Monday December 8
