    Description

    Volunteers needed! Come join OneShoreline and the County of San Mateo's Public Works Department for National River Cleanup Day.

    We'll be picking up trash along the banks of Colma Creek to help preserve our local watershed. Help clean up Colma Creek!

    When: Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon.

    Location: We will meet at the Utah Ave. bridge, near 180 Utah at the intersection of Utah and Harbor Way

    What to bring: Come prepared to be outdoors for three hours. The following should be on your packing list:

    • Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are required (ones you don't mind getting dirty!)
    • Dress in layers; long pants are recommended
    • Sun protection such as a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen
    • Full reusable water bottle

    Gloves, pickers, bags, and refreshments will be provided!!
