The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
The Cascades Region, made up of Oregon and Southwest Washington, is made up of a workforce of over 90% volunteers. This means we have upwards of 3,000 volunteers supporting our various lines of service, including Disaster Cycle Services, Blood Services, Service to the Armed Forces, and International Services. There are opportunities for individuals of all backgrounds, availability, and interests.
