Our mission is to be a dedicated, bustling, hub with equal access to tools, workshops, and resources to inspire creativity, facilitate lifelong learning, and provide opportunities for all.
The Makers Hub was established to serve historically underserved communities by creating a makerspace, starting in one of the most notable underserved communities - Compton, California.
What is a Makerspace? Simply put, it is a place where people can come together to create, invent, build, and learn through the use of a collaborative workspace filled with tools and equipment. These spaces house traditional crafts, specialty trade set-ups, and new technology.
