The YWCA Metropolitan Chicago Patterson and McDaniel Family Center is the rape crisis center for DuPage County. Our advocacy services include responding to victims of sexual assault and their significant others at the hospital or police department, providing crisis intervention services to those calling our 24 hour rape crisis hotline and presenting prevention education programs in the schools. Volunteers receive extensive training and supervision by rape crisis center staff.
