    Day-Star School, a distinguished K-12 bilingual institution, has been a cornerstone of quality education in our region since 1988. With over 30 years of commitment to excellence, we are proud to continue our tradition of providing exceptional bilingual education to our community.

    We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic High School Social Studies Teacher to join our faculty for the 2026–2027 academic year. In this role, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in grades 9 and 10, deepening their understanding of history, geography, and the social sciences through engaging and purposeful instruction.

    The daily schedule is designed to include six 45-minute instructional periods, allowing teachers to meaningfully engage with students and deliver high-quality instruction. In addition to classroom teaching, educators are provided with two dedicated planning and preparation periods to support curriculum development, assessment preparation, and collaborative work with colleagues. Designated breakfast and lunch breaks are also included. This balanced and supportive schedule reflects our commitment to both instructional excellence and the professional well-being of our faculty

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Teaching license is preferred
    • Teaching experience is preferred

    TEACHING RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Attention to detail when teaching English language skills
    • Create weekly lesson plans
    • Fill out grades into grading system on a weekly basis
    • Attend teacher meetings and PD activities
    • Maintain daily attendance records for all classes and subjects
    • Facilitate relationships and maintain communication with parents and administration
    • Foster a safe and productive classroom environment for students
    • Maintain order and discipline in the classroom and follow school and government guidelines
    • Attention to detail when teaching English language skills

    OTHER SKILLS

    • Experience living or working abroad is preferable
    • Experience teaching and supervising children in an education setting
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
    • Ability to adapt to circumstances and be flexible
    • Ability to work independently
