ianacare

ianacare (short for "I am not alone care") is a Boston-based company dedicated to transforming the caregiving experience for the 63 million family caregivers in the United States. Since 2018, our platform has equipped and empowered family caregivers with the tools, resources, and human support they need to navigate one of life's most challenging journeys.

Our care model combines technology with a team of dedicated Care Navigators: trained professionals who provide personalized guidance, care coordination, and emotional support to families caring for loved ones at home. To date, we have served over 50,000 caregivers and patients, training over 6,500 family caregivers with an average of 21 touchpoints per care episode.

A core focus of our social mission is supporting families affected by dementia. We are a leading partner in the CMS GUIDE (Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience) model, working with health systems and providers across the country to deliver comprehensive caregiver support - including navigation services, educational resources, respite care coordination, and 24/7 access to expert guidance.

Family caregivers are the invisible backbone of the healthcare system. Without them, the system would collapse, yet they remain largely unsupported. ianacare exists to change that.
