About Us
17a focuses on service and tool design in public service delivery, working with government entities, adjacent players in the public sector, and end users to develop modern solutions for modern problems. We do program design for state agencies (e.g. new economic development innovation fund), pilot promising interventions for complex challenges (e.g. opioid addiction treatment), and develop tools at a proof of concept stage (e.g. automated criminal record clearing), operating on the core belief that we collectively have what it takes to make public services better.
