Idealist is launching a set of new programs for teens to get involved in community action: the Teen Advisory Board for Idealists (TABI) and Leadership Lab.

New program!
Teen Advisory Board for Idealists (TABI)
Open to all NYC youth 14+, TABI is a new program from Idealist focused on helping teens take action. Participants attend bimonthly meetings to brainstorm ideas and develop concrete actions that have a positive impact in the world.
No experience is necessary to join—just a commitment to working respectfully with others and a dedication to building a better world.
TABI
Meetings will take place on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month between 4-5:30pm at Idealist’s midtown office, starting on Tuesday, Oct. 6th. Snacks are provided!

Leadership Lab for Idealists
Develop essential leadership skills while earning community service hours! The Leadership Lab for Idealists is an eight-session program designed to help teens learn how to facilitate group decision-making and develop community action programs from start to finish.
Participants will gain nonprofit experience, as well as earn community service hours for volunteering.

Sessions will be held on Wednesdays & Thursdays in October from 4:30 to 6pm starting October 7th. All sessions will be held at Idealist’s midtown office.
