Transportation Security Administration

The mission of the TSA Canine program is to deter and detect the introduction of explosives into the transportation security system. This is achieved through highly trained explosive detection and passenger screening canine teams deployed across various transportation modes including aviation, mass transit, cargo and maritime. These teams provide a visible deterrent and a timely, mobile response top security threats.
