    Description

    The Choice is partnering with a nonpartisan health policy think tank for an Operations Manager to support executive leadership.

    This is a great opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing operations, communications, scheduling, and project coordination. The Operations Manager will serve as a key partner to senior leadership and play an important role in helping ensure organizational priorities and initiatives move forward efficiently.

    Preferred Background

    Candidates with experience in Capitol Hill offices, associations, nonprofits, public affairs firms, consulting environments, policy organizations, or fast-paced operational roles are encouraged to apply.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of relevant professional experience
    • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
    • Professional judgment, discretion, and responsiveness
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Calendar and scheduling platforms
    • Project management tools (Asana or similar)
    • CRM and database management platforms
    • Social media and communications platforms
    • Experience coordinating events, meetings, or stakeholder engagement initiatives preferred

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support executive operations including scheduling, and calendar coordination
    • Track timelines, priorities, deliverables, and follow-up across multiple projects and initiatives
    • Coordinate meetings, events, and stakeholder engagement efforts
    • Assist with communications, outreach, and relationship management
    • Support organizational operations including vendor coordination, invoicing, and administrative processes
    • Help manage project workflows and maintain strong internal coordination across teams
    • Support external engagement efforts with policymakers, partners, and industry stakeholders
    • Assist with logistics and execution for meetings and events

    This position is primarily remote, with required in-person meetings and events in Washington, DC approximately 2-3 times per month. Candidates should be comfortable attending occasional in-person engagements and events as needed.
