    Description

    The Choice is managing an immediate contract opportunity for our amazing client, a nonprofit that supports disaster relief and impacted communities.

    This role will support fundraising operations through processing gifts and donations, making adjustments, and providing excellent customer service.

    Timeline: August 18th start date required. The position is contract during a busy time in the department but there is potential for a temporary-to-hire scenario if it is a good fit.

    Schedule: Standard hours, Monday-Friday. Thursdays are required in-office days. The office is in downtown DC with an easy walk to Metro.

    Compensation: $25 an hour.

    Qualifications:

    • Some previous nonprofit experience required (internship, volunteer, or paid experience)
    • Previous experience and familiarity using Excel for organizing data is a must
    • Previous experience using a CRM (Salesforce NPSP would be a big plus)
    • Completed Bachelor’s degree

    Job Duties:

    • Retrieve gift information from various external sources
    • Review gift information and identify gifts needing special handling
    • Using a variety of methods, clean, transform, and enter gifts into Salesforce
    • Review gift entries for quality and accuracy, ensuring gift and donor Information accuracy
    • Reconcile files to sync to Finance platform
    • Contribute to various team projects as assigned
    • Identify areas of improvements related to gift processing
    • Meet gift entry deadlines and maintain confidentiality of gifts and donors
    • Provide prompt response to internal ad hoc requests for gift information
    • Contribute to various team projects as assigned.
