Description
The Choice is managing a direct hire search for our client, a digital health policy organization, for a Health Policy Analyst.
This role will monitor state and federal policy developments, conduct research, attend legislative and regulatory meetings, help develop content for events and working groups, and build relationships with policymakers, regulators, and industry leaders. This is an opportunity to work directly on critical healthcare innovation issues,
Position type: Direct Hire
In office requirements: Mainly work from home (must reside in DMV area) but available to travel to meetings and events as needed
Salary: Starting at $55,000 with the possibility of some salary room depending on years of experience.
Job Duties:
- Track legislation, regulations, and policy developments related to digital health, RPM, telehealth, and AI.
- Attend congressional hearings, agency meetings, briefings, and stakeholder events.
- Represent the organization at congressional hearings, federal agency meetings, coalition meetings, and industry events, and report key developments back to the team.
- Monitor federal agencies and state regulators for requests for information (RFIs), proposed rules, and public comment opportunities.
- Draft public comments, policy responses, and regulatory submissions on behalf of the organization
- Research emerging healthcare policy issues and prepare briefs, reports, and summaries.
- Help develop agendas and content for events, webinars, roundtables, and working groups.
- Build relationships with policymakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders.
- Support research, education, and policy initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Capitol Hill experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in public policy, public health, political science, health administration, or a related field.
- Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
- Interest in healthcare innovation, technology, and public policy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Willingness to travel periodically for meetings and events.
