Videographer Internship

If you are passionate about creating visually engaging, emotional, and meaningful digital content through videography and visual storytelling, this internship could be a great fit for you.

We are NEXO Sicilia, a young, newly-founded social enterprise located in Agrigento, Sicily. We are looking for creative and motivated interns to join our multicultural and dynamic communication and digital development department and contribute to the creation of video content and storytelling projects supporting both NEXO Sicilia and our network of partners.

Through our work in international mobility, social impact initiatives, and community-based projects, we aim to create meaningful educational, cultural, and professional opportunities for young people across Europe while promoting a more innovative and opportunity-oriented vision of Sicily.

Your role

• Create video content showcasing international mobility experiences, social impact initiatives, cultural activities, and community-based projects
• Develop visual concepts, storyboards, and storytelling formats that communicate the mission, values, and identity of NEXO Sicilia and its partners
• Plan, film, and edit content for social media, websites, campaigns, and digital communication projects
• Adapt video formats and visual narratives for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital channels
• Apply filming, lighting, editing, pacing, and sound techniques to create emotionally engaging and visually compelling content
• Collaborate with the communication team to ensure consistency in tone, message, and visual identity across projects
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for campaigns, interviews, storytelling initiatives, and digital communication strategies
• Support the creation of reusable video formats, templates, and multimedia resources for future communication projects
• Stay updated on trends in videography, digital storytelling, and social media communication
• Participate in a creative, multicultural, and collaborative environment focused on communication, innovation, and social impact

Apply if this is you:

• You are currently studying or have a background in Videography, Film Production, Multimedia, Communication, Digital Media, Visual Arts, Photography, Marketing, or related fields
• You are passionate about storytelling, visual communication, and transforming ideas, experiences, and social impact initiatives into engaging digital content and visual narratives
• You are interested in videography, social media content creation, and creative communication strategies across different digital platforms
• You are creative, adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working on collaborative projects in dynamic and multicultural environments
• You are familiar with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar tools
• You have a good command of English (minimum B1 level)
• A portfolio showcasing video, photography, or multimedia projects is highly appreciated

To ensure a smooth and successful internship, all our interns have access to the following resources:

• Shared accommodation in fully furnished apartments (utilities included)
• Italian language classes (beginner and intermediate levels)
• Administrative support throughout the internship
• Participation in cultural activities and events

Our Requirements:

• You are eligible for the Erasmus+ program or a similar international mobility program, which typically provide you with financial support
• You are available to spend at least 4 months in Agrigento
• You have access to a personal computer suitable for completing the tasks associated with the internship
• While not required, interns are welcome to bring their own photography, videography, or content creation equipment
