    Description

    Join our dynamic team in Agrigento, Sicily, and gain hands-on experience working on projects related to social and political issues. As an intern, you will contribute to research, communication, and initiatives focused on key societal topics such as migration, gentrification, and brain drain. You will collaborate with an international team in a multicultural environment, supporting projects linked to the third sector while developing your analytical, research, and communication skills through meaningful, real-world work.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Conducting research and analysis on a variety of topics (related to the third sector) in order to contribute to the company’s content and database
    • Writing articles and producing in-depth content for various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn...) and communication materials (brocheurs, presentations, social media posts...)
    • In coordination with the communications team and management, the intern will assist in defining and improving the company’s communication strategy and key messaging
    • The intern will produce well-researched, fact-checked, and properly sourced in-depth content on a wide range of topics, primarily related to Sicily and it's social context

    Profile and Skills:

    We are looking for a curious and engaged individual with a strong interest in social and political issues. Ideally, you have a background or studies in sociology, political science, journalism, or a related field. You should be well-informed about current social dynamics and public debates, particularly topics such as migration, gentrification, brain drain, and broader societal challenges.

    An interest in the third sector is important, and experience with NGOs, community organizations, or volunteering is highly valued. Strong research and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to understand complex social issues and communicate them clearly.

    You should be organized, open-minded, and motivated to learn, capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team. Above all, we are looking for someone who brings curiosity, critical thinking, and a genuine commitment to social impact.

    Internship requirements:

    You must be eligible for the Erasmus+ program

    You are able to join us in Agrigento for at least 4 months

    You have at least a B1 level in English.
