    Role Overview

We are seeking a Digital Marketing & Communications Intern to support the development and execution of C4TH's marketing and communications efforts.

The ideal candidate is both creative and operational — someone who can think strategically about messaging and follow through on execution across platforms. You'll have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a growing organization doing important work.

    Key Responsibilities

    Content Creation & Management

    • Draft and design content for social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), email newsletters, and website updates and blog posts
    • Assist in developing a consistent brand voice and messaging framework
    • Create and organize content calendars

    Digital Campaign Support

    • Support execution of marketing campaigns for program launches, events and workshops, and partnerships and collaborations
    • Track campaign timelines and deliverables
    • Assist in optimizing campaigns based on performance

    Social Media & Audience Growth

    • Support day-to-day management of social platforms
    • Research trends, hashtags, and audience engagement strategies
    • Monitor engagement and identify opportunities to grow reach

    Marketing Operations & Systems

    • Help organize marketing assets, templates, and documentation
    • Support CRM/email platform management (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.)
    • Assist in building repeatable workflows for marketing execution

    Research & Market Insight

    • Conduct research on comparable organizations, audience segments, and industry trends (healthcare, nonprofit, grief care, wellness)
    • Translate findings into actionable recommendations

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with programs team and leadership
    • Ensure alignment between program offerings and outward-facing messaging

    Learning & Development Opportunities

    • Exposure to building a marketing function within a growing nonprofit
    • Experience working on real campaigns and strategic initiatives
    • Mentorship and feedback from leadership
    • Opportunity to contribute to mission-driven, impact-focused work

    Qualifications

    • Interest in marketing, communications, nonprofit work, or healthcare-related fields
    • Strong written communication skills
    • Basic familiarity with social media platforms and digital tools
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented
    • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines

    Preferred (not required):

    • Experience with Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools
    • Familiarity with email marketing platforms
    • Basic analytics or data tracking experience
