    Job Title: Civic Health Fellowship Intern

    Department: Strategy/Operations

    Reports to: Senior Dir of Strategy

    Internship Dates: Summer or Fall 2026

    Classification: Intern

    Weekly Hours Expectation: 10-15 hrs per week

    Pay: $18.75/hour

    Job Summary:

    The Civic Health Fellowship Intern will support with the overall administration of Vot-ER’s 2026 Civic Health Fellowship, an online training program that equips healthcare professionals with the training, resources, and collaborative space needed to lead campaigns that mobilize patients towards civic engagement.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Support the Senior Director of Strategy & Special Projects with overall Fellowship project planning and execution
    • Provide Zoom tech support during live Fellowship sessions such as coordinating breakout rooms, spotlighting speakers, and facilitating other tech operations as needed
    • Draft and send mass electronic communications to the Fellowship participants such as email reminders related to live sessions and asynchronous exercises, follow-up surveys, etc.
    • Upload Zoom recordings, powerpoint slides, and additional materials to the Thinkific platform
    • Attend Fellowship planning meetings as needed and occasionally support with meeting facilitation

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Video editing tasks, including trimming footage, adding captions and graphics, and preparing content
    • Proficient with Zoom and Google Suite, or ability to quickly learn new softwares
    • Demonstrated commitment to racial equity and inclusion.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to gain trust and give respect to others through honesty, integrity, kindness, empathy, and authenticity.
    • Acute attention to detail and demonstrated ability to prioritize time to meet deadlines for multiple projects.
    • Drive to seek what can be improved and offer ways to fix any potential roadblocks.
    • Comfort admitting what you don’t know and recognizing that feedback is part of the learning process.

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working at a computer.
    • Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.
