    Description

    The Chicago Parks Foundation (CPF) seeks a bright and analytical Donor Database Associate who will maintain our CRM, DonorPerfect, and work collaboratively with the CPF staff to ensure proper gift entry, timely record keeping and order within our most valuable tool. This is a hybrid, part-time position at 20 hours per week. The role reports to the Executive Director and will work collectively with the entire CPF team.

    CPF was established in 2013 as the 501c3 nonprofit and community-building partner of the Chicago parks. Since our inception, CPF has facilitated over $34 million in funds, connecting donors to giving opportunities and securing a place for Chicago’s parks within our city’s charitable landscape.

    Responsibilities

    • Gift processing from start to finish including gift entry, gift tracking, donor communication, donor acknowledgements processing and mailings
    • Maintain complete and orderly records of donors
    • Review and optimize data configuration, data structure, and data hygiene on a routine basis
    • Manage and run reporting and list pulling for various teams and uses
    • Segment donor database to allow for tailored marketing and communication initiatives
    • Assist with the tracking and reporting of grants for both CPF and our fiscally sponsored partners
    • Assist at CPF events and programs and with other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years experience with DonorPerfect
    • Bachelors degree or higher required
    • Highly detail oriented, motivated, proactive and a problem solver
    • Exceptional written/verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills for fostering donor relations
    • High level of integrity and trustworthiness, mature judgment for handling confidential information, and sensitivity to issues of diversity, equity and inclusion
    • Ability to operate with a sense of drive, multitask, work both independently and collaboratively, and manage time effectively in a hybrid model
    • Up for daily challenges and flexible as priorities change
    • Ability to work some nights and weekends as well as lift 25+ lbs
    • Must be based in the Chicago area
