responsible for program oversight, staff support, fundraising, and ensuring the organization operates

effectively in service of its mission. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director serves as

the operational partner to the Board's strategic leadership, balancing day-to-day management with an

eye toward organizational growth and sustainability. The ideal candidate is organized and community-

minded, comfortable building relationships across a wide range of stakeholders, and brings enough

experience in nonprofit management to lead with confidence in a small-organization environment.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Oversight: Oversee the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of CCL's core

programs; work with staff on planning, budgeting, and outcomes assessment; design new programs

as opportunities and community needs arise

Staff Leadership: Provide day-to-day oversight of the Program Director and Community

Connections Coordinator; maintain regular check-ins, and support a positive and collaborative team

    culture

Fundraising & Donor Relations: Partner with the Board Chair to identify and pursue grant

opportunities, develop proposals, and complete grant reports; support major donor cultivation and

help build diverse, sustainable revenue streams

Financial Management: Work alongside the Treasurer to oversee budgeting, monitor organizational

finances, and ensure sound fiscal management

Board Relations: Serve as the primary staff liaison to the Board of Directors; prepare updates for bi-

monthly meetings, support committee work between meetings, and maintain documentation to

    support effective governance

Community Engagement: Represent CCL in the community; build and sustain relationships with

volunteers, donors, partner organizations, and town stakeholders

    • Comfortable with budgeting, financial monitoring, and basic administrative functions
    • Skilled at building and sustaining relationships with volunteers, donors, and community partners
    • Genuine commitment to community service and to the people CCL serves
