The Deputy Director of Services is a senior leadership role responsible for strengthening CUFFH’s program infrastructure, managing staff, and advancing housing justice in our communities. The Deputy Director of Services will be responsible for administrative tasks and logistics behind all direct service programming; this position will manage the Constituent Services Specialist team and be supervised by the Director of Services. Working closely with the Director of Services, this role supports the development and execution of departmental programs, builds partnerships, and ensures robust service delivery to members of the community.

At the core of this position is a commitment to empower tenants against displacement, improve housing conditions, and advocate for community members to access long-term affordable housing. This role centers on advocating for tenant rights; developing grassroots leadership; leading community based workshops and events; and advancing tenant-led campaigns.

This includes overseeing key programs—such as weekly services and community leadership initiatives—and ensuring their effective implementation and alignment with organizational priorities. The Deputy Director assumes leadership in the absence of the Director of Services and supports the long-term growth of CUFFH’s services department and membership base. The ideal candidate is a committed organizer with a deep passion for housing justice, community empowerment, and building grassroots leadership!
