    Description

EdFund is an organization designed to foster and invest in rigorous, policy-relevant education finance research reflecting diverse perspectives and to connect policymakers and advocates with actionable findings.

We envision high-quality education finance research, conducted by a diverse community, which drives more effective state policy solutions to align resources with students’ needs. In order to work toward this vision, we engage in four critical workstreams: curating policy-relevant research agendas; commissioning work through a variety of partnerships and funding opportunities; communicating research findings for policy audiences; and connecting researchers with policymakers and advocates.

    Position Summary

The Manager of Outreach and Engagement is a full-time communications and community-building professional who strengthens EdFund's visibility, cultivates meaningful relationships across the education finance field, and ensures stakeholders have engaging and accessible ways to connect with our work.

This role serves as a steward of EdFund's brand and a key architect of the organization's external presence. The Manager of Outreach and Engagement oversees communications channels, develops compelling visual and written products, supports stakeholder engagement initiatives, and manages programs that bring together researchers, policymakers, and advocates. From maintaining EdFund's website and social media presence to coordinating fellowships, webinars, and communities of practice, this position helps translate research into accessible content and meaningful engagement opportunities.

The Manager of Outreach and Engagement will work closely with the Director of Policy and Director of Strategy to communicate research findings, amplify EdFund's impact, and foster a vibrant community committed to improving how public schools are funded.

This position reports to the Director of Strategy and is a fully remote role.
