Rocky Mountain Welcome Center Development Manager
Reports to: Executive Director (Diana Higuera)
Position: 32 hours/week (full benefits eligible)
About Us
Rocky Mountain Welcome Center (RMWC) is an immigrant-led nonprofit organization fostering intercultural learning, understanding, and integration among immigrants, refugees, and Colorado residents. Through programs that support mental health, youth, education, legal navigation, and community integration, RMWC serves more than 2,000 individuals each year.
RMWC has built a strong foundation of grant funding and community partnerships. We are seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead our fundraising growth by expanding individual philanthropy, strengthening donor relationships, and overseeing all aspects of the organization's development program.
Why Join Rocky Mountain Welcome Center?
At Rocky Mountain Welcome Center, every team member has the opportunity to make a direct impact in the lives of immigrant and refugee families. This is not a position where fundraising happens behind a desk. Our Development Manager works closely with program staff, meets participants and community partners, attends events, and sees firsthand how philanthropy creates meaningful change.
We are a collaborative, mission-driven organization that values teamwork, innovation, flexibility, and continuous learning. We believe the best ideas come from working together, and every staff member has the opportunity to contribute to the organization's growth and future direction. While fundraising occasionally requires evening or weekend events, we offer flexible scheduling that supports a healthy work-life balance.
As Rocky Mountain Welcome Center continues to grow, this position offers an exciting opportunity to help shape our fundraising strategy, strengthen relationships with donors and partners, and grow professionally alongside an expanding organization.
