Description
Executive Director — National Neutropenia Network
Part-Time (approx 20+ hrs/week) | Remote (U.S.) | Some travel required
The National Neutropenia Network (NNN) is seeking a part-time executive level leader for our small but growing nonprofit, which supports patients and families affected by neutropenia, a rare condition that impairs the body's ability to fight infection. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Executive Director is a highly independent operational and strategic leader, setting direction for NNN's programs, partnerships, and growth – working with the Board to translate vision into action, identifying and recommending new opportunities to expand our reach and impact.
This is a visible, externally facing leadership role. The Executive Director represents NNN, working directly with patients, healthcare providers, donors, and pharmaceutical partners, and serves as a strategic advisor to the Board.
You'll lead:
- Organizational strategy and day-to-day operations
- Programming, including our Ambassador and Peer Support programs
- Fundraising and partnerships (grants, donor relations, sponsorships)
- NNN's biennial Family Retreat and other signature events
- Communications and public visibility for NNN's mission
You bring: nonprofit, healthcare, or advocacy leadership experience; strong relationship-building and communication skills; and the independence and judgment to move ideas from concept to execution.
We welcome candidates from varied backgrounds - even if you don't meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply if you are interested.
