    Description

The Rose Project is a cohort program for emerging organizers ages 20-27. Members will spend 1 year organizing with a Boston-area union, during which the cohort will meet regularly to develop organizing skills, engage with Jewish labor history and text study, and celebrate community Shabbat dinners. More information at roseorganizing.org. You can also attend an online info session, November 18 at 7pm EST: roseorganizing.org/workshops

The Rose Project is named for Rose Schneiderman, a 20th century labor activist and Jewish immigrant who coined the iconic slogan "Bread and Roses", calling not just for work that puts bread on the table but for education, quality healthcare, and thriving communal life. This program seeks to honor Rose Schneiderman’s legacy and that of all workers who have fought for what they deserve.
