New England Jewish Labor Committee

  • About Us

We are a non-profit social justice organization of people who believe that the connection between the Jewish and labor communities is important to the well-being and forward movement of both communities and to the broader society as well.

Whether we are teachers, rabbis, service workers, accountants, business people, administrators, carpenters, or attorneys, we are part of the fabric of a society of working people. We are proud to be so, and we understand that workers are vulnerable to exploitation. So we must support those workers who need our help in order to have a healthy society that we want to live in. Furthermore, we recognize that intrinsic to our religion and history is an appreciation of work and a social justice commitment to supporting and protecting workers.
