Mighty Earth is seeking a part-time Southeast Asia Campaign Consultant to lead our corporate engagement campaign to stop deforestation and peatland development in Indonesia and Malaysia for palm oil, timber, and other commodities
This position includes leading our Rapid Response Forest Monitoring program which utilizes satellite imagery and supply chain analysis to file NDPE grievance with companies involved in the palm oil sector. Your work will also drive accountability for environmental and human rights violations in commercial supply chains.
Key responsibilities could include:
Lead campaign work to reduce the rate of deforestation and peatland conversion and increase the level of protection for forests and peatlands in Indonesia and Malaysia. This could include:
