    Description

    We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Programming Events Intern to join our vibrant team.     Responsibilities

    • Assist in the planning and organization of programming events from inception to completion, ensuring all details align with project goals and timelines
    • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and internal teams to secure necessary resources and services for successful event execution
    • Manage event budgets by tracking expenses, negotiating costs, and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines
    • Utilize event management software and CRM systems to streamline registration processes, attendee communication, and post-event follow-up
    • Support marketing efforts by creating promotional materials, leveraging social media channels, and engaging target audiences effectively
    • Provide excellent customer service by addressing attendee inquiries, managing guest services, and ensuring a positive experience for all participants
    • Oversee on-site event logistics, including setup, registration, guest management, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during events

    Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and guest engagement
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google, and familiarity with event management software tools
    • Experience with CRM systems and digital marketing platforms is a plus
    • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively and negotiate with vendors or partners
    • Previous hospitality industry experience or event planning internships is advantageous
    • Proven time management skills coupled with the ability to prioritize tasks independently
