    Job Summary:

    The school is looking for a detail-loving, people-centered Development Associate to join our fundraising team. This is a role for someone who gets genuinely excited about clean data, meaningful donor relationships, and the behind-the-scenes work that makes generosity possible. You'll report directly to our Director of Development and get hands-on experience across every facet of nonprofit fundraising, building a foundation for a long career in this field.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Oversee donor database (Raiser's Edge), including data hygiene and reporting
    • Partner in the development and implementation of a robust Alumni program, including all aspects of celebrating the school’s 25th anniversary in 2027
    • Support annual giving campaigns by managing mailings, drafting acknowledgment letters, and pulling donor reports
    • Help plan and coordinate department events from logistics to day-of execution, including annual spring community party, GrandFriends Day, and donor cultivation events
    • Assist with donor research, prospect tracking, and moves management support
    • Manage the production of the weekly all-school and all-staff newsletters
    • Collaborate closely with the Director of Development to keep the team organized and moving forward

    Qualifications

    Must demonstrate:

    • 1-3 years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, or a related field
    • Highly organized
    • Clear, warm-writer
    • Skill with office software and technology

    Preferred Qualities:

    • Raiser’s Edge experience
    • Energized by mission-driven work
    • Eager to grow into a well-rounded fundraising professional

    Compensation and Benefit Summary:

    Full-time, administrative position, competitive, non-exempt salary based on experience and qualifications. Excellent benefits are offered, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and matching 403(b).

    1. $36.92 - $43.27 hourly

    ($75,000 to $90,000 annually)
