    Location: 100% remote

    Compensation: $50-$65/hour, DOE

    Accountable to: Executive Director

Faith Foundation Northwest helps faith communities be financially healthy for the long run by providing socially responsible investments, planned giving support, loans, and grants. This nonprofit organization grew out of the United Methodist connection in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. If you are ready to leverage your grant program management expertise for the benefit of faith-based nonprofits, we want to hear from you.

    Grant Program Description

Faith Foundation Northwest will issue rebates for the purchase and installation of high-efficiency electric equipment by small nonprofits across the state of Washington. These installations will benefit people who are disproportionately affected by climate change by improving climate control and indoor air quality in spaces where they receive social services. The program will maximize greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions by requiring electric conversions of spaces that currently use fossil fuels for heating and cooling.

Eligible nonprofits that primarily benefit vulnerable populations, provide services full-time, and benefit a higher number of community members per square foot-- both on a weekly basis and as part of a community’s emergency response plan-- will be prioritized. At least 40% of rebates under this program will be awarded to applicants located in a census tract designated 8, 9 or 10 by the Washington Department of Health’s Environmental Health (EHD) Disparities Map and/or located in a census tract identified by the Washington State Office of Financial Management’s Overburdened Communities of Washington Map.
