Permanent, Full-Time, In-Person Two Days per week, plus events, Based in D.C
You could be the next Senior Grassroots Mobilization Organizer if you have:
- 5-7 years of progressive professional experience in community organizing, program development, political campaigns, or advocacy.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Experience in a detail-oriented position that required a high-level of organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Fluency in Spanish and databases (e.g. Action Network, Salesforce) preferred
- Demonstrated skills in adaptability, relationship building, constituent relations/customer service, detail-oriented, initiative, motivating others, perseverance, leadership, strategy, and collaboration.
You could be the next Senior Grassroots Mobilization Organizer if you are:
- A strong manager, coach, trainer, and have group-facilitation and/or conflict management experience
- An excellent listener as well as oral and written communicator
- Familiar with Catholic Social Justice and faith-based organizations.
- Committed to creating a multicultural, anti-racist organization.
What you’ll be doing:
- Work closely with the Grassroots Mobilization team to further develop and strengthen NETWORK’s national organizing model and build a field strategy that complements and enhances our Hill strategy.
- Support existing Grassroots Advocates Teams and organize new ones in select states as opportunities present themselves.
- Work with key constituencies to expand and strengthen our network of advocates: develop new leaders, deepen skills of existing leaders.
- Conduct relational organizing trainings in-person and virtually; identify needs for additional trainings
- Motivate and coordinate – and provide the training for – local activists' participation in NETWORK policy campaigns, including in-district lobby visits and op-eds/LTEs, identify needs for additional advocacy tools.
- Represent NETWORK at events. Facilitate advocacy events in the field and in D.C.
