    BOSS™ is a high-impact nonprofit empowering Black, Latino, and under-resourced boys through academic support, mentorship, STEM exposure, and leadership development. Our goal is simple: help young men move from passengers to drivers in their life’s journey.

    The Role

    This position sits at the intersection of operations, storytelling, and systems. You’ll support day-to-day administration, manage communications, and help capture and share the impact of our work.

    What You’ll Do

    Operations & Administration

    • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and communications
    • Maintain organized files, systems, and materials
    • Track grants, deadlines, and reports
    • Support presentations and board materials

    Marketing & Communications

    • Create and post social media content
    • Design flyers, graphics, and presentations (Canva)
    • Support website updates and storytelling
    • Capture and share program impact

    Donor & Fundraising Support

    • Assist with donor communications and campaigns
    • Manage appreciation messages (Gratavid)
    • Track engagement and support follow-ups

    CRM & Data (Neon)

    • Maintain donor and program records
    • Manage event registrations and email outreach
    • Track donations and campaign performance

    Events & Programs

    • Help plan and execute events and workshops
    • Support communications with students, families, and partners

    What We’re Looking For

    • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
    • Strong written and verbal communicator
    • Comfortable balancing admin work + creative projects
    • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems
    • Mission-aligned and thrives in a fast-paced environment

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    • Experience with Google Workspace / Microsoft Office
    • Canva and social media experience preferred
    • CRM experience (Neon, Salesforce, etc.) a plus
    • Nonprofit, events, or fundraising experience is a bonus

    Level of Language Proficiency
