Everytown for Gun Safety, the nation’s largest gun violence prevention advocacy group, is seeking to fill a Research Associate role. The Everytown Research Department studies how gun violence occurs in America and identifies the best policies and interventions to prevent and address it. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting descriptive data analyses and visualizations, as well as research reviews and reports that advance the science of gun violence prevention. You will also support the work of Everytown Labs, an innovation hub within the organization that accelerates promising technology including artificial intelligence, through project coordination, data vetting, and analysis.
This is a full time position based in New York, NY, with a three-day in-office hybrid work environment. The Research Associate will report directly to the Research Director, with a dotted line to the Senior Director of Everytown Labs.
