Why This Role Matters: L.A. Works is launching Service Leadership Staffing, a first-of-its-kind social enterprise that provides professional staffing solutions to nonprofits while dramatically increasing volunteer impact across Los Angeles. We are seeking a skilled Contractor Coordination & Placement Specialist to help build our contractor talent pool, coordinate placements, and track volunteer impact. The right candidate will work closely with the Director of Service Leadership Staffing to ensure contractors are prepared to deliver high-quality service. This role is based in Los Angeles, requires the ability to work independently in a remote setting, and offers an exciting opportunity to build a program from scratch.

Classification and salary: The Contractor Coordination & Placement Specialist role is a full-time non-exempt employee of L.A. Works, employed at will, and reports directly to the Director of Service Leadership Staffing. This is a grant-funded position through December 2027 with the opportunity for extension by funder or through sustained program success. As such, the Contractor Coordination & Placement Specialist role is subject to the policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook. The targeted hiring salary is $58,000 – $60,000.
