The Enrollment Coach (EC) is a member of the Program Team and, under the supervision of the
Recruitment Manager is responsible carrying out the responsibilities related to the successful
onboarding of Capital IDEA Houston applicants. The EC is responsible for conducting eligibility for
clients and conducting interviews for applicants following procedures and guidelines specific to each
program. The EC is an action oriented, highly-organized, and detail-oriented member of CIH’s Program
Team.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities include the following:
- Facilitate Capital IDEA Houston Information Sessions and events in person and/or virtual in the
- community.
- Provide guidance, support, and follow-up to applicants throughout the application process,
- including updates on required eligibility documentation and connections to additional/external
- resources.
- Build and maintain participants’ hard/virtual case files and assist in Quality Control.
- Perform and ensure accurate data entry of applicants into database.
- Proctor various assessments and tests during OnRamps Career Exploration Sessions.
- Make recommendation on Career Pathway and prepare Individual Education Plan.
- Schedule, Confirm & Conduct eligibility sessions for clients following procedures and guidelines specific to each program.
- Complete Guidance & Planning Session/Case Staffing of applicants applying for the CIH program.
- Submit Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual reports as required.
- Attends all required training programs
- Represent Capital IDEA Houston at community events and activities that strengthen our community relationships and promote our services and supports participants.
- Promotes effective working relationships and works effectively as part of a team to facilitate the department’s ability to meet its goals and objectives.
- Demonstrate respect and regard for the dignity of all applicants, visitors and fellow employees to insure a professional, responsible and courteous environment.
