New Village is a small non-profit with a big mission supporting young children and their families. We are in a growth phase and need a motivated self-starter to serve as the operational backbone of the organization. This is a role for someone who loves to bring loving order to messiness and finds satisfaction in building systems that work for a diverse workforce.

You will work in close, buddy-style partnership with our Founder/Co-Director. This person is a creative visionary who also works in the classroom; your role is to be the Integrator. You are the person who catches the details, closes the loops, and builds the "external brain" for the office. You are comfortable navigating a multi-layered environment and possess the confidence to implement human-centered structure where it is currently missing.

    Key Areas of Impact

    • Systems Architecture & Digital/Analog File Cleanup
    • Regulatory Compliance, HR & Payroll
    • Financial Aid Administration
    • Donor database development and management
    • Grounds & Facilities Management
    • Event support
    • Communications support

    The Ideal Candidate

    • The "Finisher": You don't just start projects; you see them through to the very end.
    • High Autonomy: You are a "go-getter" who can identify a problem and fix it.
    • Relational & Direct: You can work "shoulder-to-shoulder" with leadership, offering solutions to keep the organization on track.
    • Tech Savvy: You are proficient in Google Workspace and digital management tools, with an eye for "cleaning up" data.
    • Values-Driven: You advocate for DEI in every policy you write, every vendor you hire, and every interaction you have.

New Village is always working to become a community that practices preemptive radical inclusion. We collaborate to create our spaces with you in mind. Please show up with your whole authentic self! We are a queer-affirming, gender-affirming, disability-affirming, abolitionist community that stands up to injustice of all kinds. Black, Brown, and BIPOC applicants are strongly encouraged to contact us about this opportunity.
