    About Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation

The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation (CCF) is the only U.S.-based nonprofit organization

solely focused on cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer), a rare but aggressive disease that

Driven by its core values—patients first, collaboration, innovation, and urgency—CCF

operates in a fast-paced environment, mobilizing resources and expertise worldwide to

accelerate progress. As a virtual organization with team members across the U.S. and

internationally, CCF connects a global audience of patients, caregivers, clinicians, and

researchers through cutting-edge programs and partnerships. The Foundation is

    • Foster a welcoming, inclusive, patient-centered volunteer experience that reflects CCF’s values and helps volunteers feel connected to the organization’s mission and community.
    • Support volunteer recognition and appreciation efforts by identifying milestones, accomplishments, impact stories, and opportunities for meaningful recognition.
    • Collaborate with CCF staff to promote consistent volunteer supervision, communication, and program practices, and escalate performance, conduct, or role-fit concerns as appropriate.
    • Maintain accurate volunteer records and track participation, engagement, training, and program metrics in CCF systems, including Raiser’s Edge and Asana.
    • Contribute volunteer stories, feedback, data, and examples of impact for reports, dashboards, communications, and other efforts to demonstrate volunteer impact.
    • Partner with the Senior Volunteer Manager and Volunteer Engagement Team to evaluate volunteer programs, resources, and engagement strategies and recommend improvements based on feedback, data, and best practices.
