    Description

    About The Kindness Campaign

The Kindness Campaign is a nationally growing nonprofit focused on emotional health, emotional literacy, and community impact for children, teens, families, schools, and communities. We create experiences, programs, tools, and partnerships that help people build emotional health skills for life.

We are looking for a highly organized, entrepreneurial, mission-driven leader to help us scale our programs, partnerships, volunteer initiatives, and community impact nationwide.

    About the Role

This is not a traditional nonprofit coordinator or manager role. We are looking for a builder — someone who can help take ideas and turn them into scalable programs, systems, experiences, partnerships, and community initiatives.

This role will help support and grow TKC’s programming, community engagement, volunteer experiences, partnerships, and future initiatives as the organization continues to expand nationally.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, strategic, creative, emotionally intelligent, and excited to help build the future of TKC.

    What You’ll Do

    • Help manage and grow TKC programs and community experiences
    • Build scalable systems, playbooks, and processes
    • Lead and own volunteer and community engagement initiatives
    • Coordinate with schools, partners, sponsors, volunteers, and community organizations
    • Improve participant experience and program delivery
    • Support events, activations, and organizational initiatives
    • Help develop and launch new ideas and opportunities for growth
    • Identify ways to improve scalability, efficiency, and impact
    • Help track outcomes, engagement, and program effectiveness

    What Success Looks Like

    • Launch a scalable program playbook within your first 90 days in two or more emerging markets that any future TKC team member or partner can run, focusing on TKC's Kind Leadership and World Kindness Day programs.
    • Own and grow the volunteer program, turning one-off volunteer moments into a repeatable engagement engine and volunteer activation system.
    • Deepen and grow TKC's existing school and community partnerships — hitting 80-90% partnership retention and 25% revenue growth from existing accounts by the end of your first year — while building the account management systems that make national expansion possible.

    Who You Are

You're probably already doing a version of this job somewhere else — just without the mission, the runway, or the permission to build something that matters. You've quietly built systems at your current org that everyone now depends on, and you're starting to wonder if you're being underused. You read about emotional health, education, or community-building in your free time. You've maybe volunteered, maybe taught, maybe ran events on the side — and you've noticed how much better those experiences could be with someone actually designing them.

You're frustrated by organizations that talk about impact but can't execute, and by jobs that ask you to "wear many hats" but never give you real ownership of anything. You're hungry for a role where the ceiling is high, the work is visible, and what you build actually reaches kids, families, and communities.

You care deeply about kindness — not as a slogan, but as a discipline. And you want to help build the organization that's making it one.

    Preferred Experience

    • 5+ years in program management, community engagement, education, nonprofit leadership, partnerships, events, operations, or related fields
    • Experience managing projects or initiatives from concept to execution
    • Experience working with schools, volunteers, partners, or community organizations
    • Strong operational and organizational skills
    • Experience building systems, processes, or scalable programs preferred
    • Familiarity with AI tools, automation, or modern operational systems

    Bonus Points For:

    • Startup or growth-stage experience
    • Volunteer management experience
    • Experience with experiential programming or community-building

    Why Join TKC?

This is an opportunity to help shape one of the most innovative emotional health and community-impact organizations in the country.

    You’ll have the chance to:

    • Create meaningful national impact
    • Help shape the future growth of TKC
    • Build programs and experiences that change lives
    • Work directly with leadership
    • Grow alongside a rapidly expanding organization

If you are a builder who wants to create meaningful work at scale, we’d love to hear from you.
