  • Mission

We are Care For Her, a nonprofit organization (pending 501(c)(3)) located in Berkeley, CA that advocates for menstrual equity through the distribution of hygiene and menstrual products to women in need as well as educating communities about menstrual health. We are building an equitable future for all women who are affected by the lack of access to essential menstrual care. Period poverty is a public health issue, and no one should have to choose between dignity and basic needs.

    About Us

We serve women in communities that may lack proper access to menstrual products and education. Currently, we primarily serve women in the California Bay Area, which includes major cities like Berkeley, San Francisco, Richmond, Oakland, San Jose, and most cities within a 50-mile radius to Berkeley. We have three programs, two in which we distribute menstrual hygiene kits to local shelters, schools, families, and individuals. Our third program entails a more advocacy-centered approach where we educate our community about menstrual health.
