    SUNCOAST IRISH & GAELIC HERITAGE, Inc. MISSION STATEMENT The purpose of Suncoast Irish & Gaelic Heritage is to meet as friends to share and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Ireland and the Gaels, and to welcome all who share this goal. We emphasize the education, and share the enjoyment, of Irish/Gaelic Language, Food, Drink, Music, Dance, Folklore, Crafts, Arts and Literature, as well as the glorious history, and the spectacular scenery of Ireland and Gaelic nations, including Wales, Scotland, Isle of Man & Canada/Breton. This organization represents the IRISH culture at the Saint Petersburg International Folk Fair Society (SPIFFS) as a member cultural group. S.I.G.H. dedicates displays of our Irish Village representing the Irish and Gaelic culture at the annual Saint Petersburg International Folk Fair, and in other similar cultural events in and around the greater Tampa Bay area.

    About Us

    Suncoast Irish & Gaelic Heritage, Inc. is a prominent cultural member group of a local organization (St. Petersburg International Folk Fair Society, Inc. (SPIFFS) which is celebrating 49 years in 2024.

    We strive to create an exciting and interactive Irish Village atmosphere with educational materials, musicians, re-enactors, demonstrations of spinning & weaving, Irish dance and storytelling at their annual International Festival.

    Through the year we attend additional local events and share our organization & heritage with the general public. We have attended schools and libraries for interactive presentations. Suncoast Irish also host its own gathering and events.
