About Us
River Keepers is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization connecting our community safely to the Red River of the North through education, stewardship, and engagement. We work with the community to LEARN about the Red River, so they become good stewards and help SUSTAIN the river, and safely ENJOY it. River Keepers grew from a desire to rediscover the Red River’s heritage, and to teach people to again appreciate the Red as a living River.
