Hughes Memorial Union

The Hughes Memorial Union is a community hub that promotes learning, work, wellness and the local economy. It encompasses The Local, a market for farmers and artisans, The Union, a venue for collaborating, and The Hughes Memorial Library, held in trust for future growth.

We are a community organization that serves the population of the northwest corner of Connecticut. We provide a two day a week year round farmer's market where any person can showcase their wares. We take care of all display and staffing. We have a Wellness Collective where any teacher can teach yoga, fitness, dance, etc. directly to the public. And we have a little library, circa, 1800's, on the banks of the Housatonic River in West Cornwall, CT where we have a curated shop and upcoming art classes.
