    Founded by a first-generation Iraqi American woman, Arab Women United has grown from a student-led initiative into a thriving nonprofit serving women across Metro Detroit and beyond. Our programs include mental health workshops, entrepreneurship training, cultural wellness events, and advocacy efforts that center women’s lived experiences. We are proud to have impacted hundreds of lives through community-driven support, skill-building, and mentorship. Volunteers are essential to our work; helping us organize events, mentor women, create content, and spread awareness.
