Our mission is to provide compassionate support, stable housing solutions, and community-focused programs that empower individuals and families to build a better future. We are dedicated to creating opportunities for growth, restoring hope during difficult times, and strengthening communities through meaningful outreach, collaboration, and long-term support services.

The GD Association was founded over 35 years ago by people with deep, burning compassion rooted for Seattle’s diverse community. That heart still guides its leadership today. Our hope is to do our part in helping restore our Emerald city-the crown jewel of the Pacific Northwest-to a thriving home where everyone can stake a claim in her soil. No one should have to live without a roof over their head or a hot meal at the ready. We want to help, pure and simple, because this is our home, too.
