About Us
DC127 is an initiative launched by churches in the DC area focuses on recruiting and supporting foster and adoptive families. We believe that kids need families, families need strong community, and everyone can do something to make that happen.
It's our goal to mobilize DC residents to care for and support the 1,300 children in the DC foster care through existing programs, and to find and support adoptive homes for the 300 children waiting to be adopted.
