  • Mission

Santa Fe Habitat for Humanity promotes affordable homeownership for Santa Fe area residents by constructing simple, adequate houses through the cooperative efforts of volunteers, partner families and staff.

    About Us

Santa Fe Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1987. In 2002 Santa Fe Habitat opened its ReStore, which sells recycled building supplies and furniture at a discount. Profits from the ReStore support the building of new Habitat homes in Santa Fe.

70% of every Partner Family House is built by volunteers.

80% of Santa Fe Habitat's work done by volunteers

Each year it takes 30,000 volunteer hours to build seven Partner Family homes.

Each Partner Family works 500 sweat equity hours as an investment in their own home.
