    About Us

Discover the Spirit of Aviation at Fort Worth Aviation Museum!

Located at historic Meacham Airport, our museum brings aviation history to life with 39 touchable military warbirds on display-the most in Texas! Whether you're an aviation buff, history fan, or looking for a fun outing, we offer a unique, hands-on experience for all ages.

Join a free guided tour with one of our friendly docents-many of them veterans eager to share their stories. As a nonprofit, we rely on admissions, donations, and our gift shop to keep history flying. Planning an event? Our venue offers a one-of-a-kind backdrop for unforgettable gatherings.

In 2024, over 15,000 people visited, and we reach even more by bringing helicopters to community events on trailers! Love restoring aircraft? Volunteers of all skill levels are welcome to join our restoration team.

We’re also proud to be a year-round Blue Star Museum, offering free admission to active-duty military and their families.

At Fort Worth Aviation Museum, you’re not just visiting a museum-you’re joining a community that celebrates and preserves the spirit of aviation.
